This is the first joint workshop of the two faculties of mathematics of Kyushu University and the University of Karlsruhe, activating the Global COE (Center Of Excellence) Program in Kyushu University.
The Faculty of Mathematics, Kyushu University, and the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Karlsruhe, have an agreement on academic exchange and scientific cooperation since November 2007.
